About the role

HH Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Property Compliance Coordinator to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between Community Managers and Maintenance teams regarding inspections, deficiencies, work orders, follow-up items, and property needs.
  • Assist with and coordinate unit and property inspections in accordance with applicable HUD requirements and company procedures.
  • Document inspection findings, deficiencies, follow-up requirements, and completion status accurately within company systems.
  • Utilize company property management and inspection software to maintain accurate records, reports, notes, and documentation.
  • Support HUD and affordable housing compliance processes and maintain organized documentation for property records.
  • Communicate professionally with residents in both English and Spanish regarding inspections, documentation, property matters, and follow-up needs.
  • Assist Community Managers with day-to-day administrative and property operations as needed.
  • Coordinate information between office, maintenance, and compliance personnel to ensure important issues are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling resident, property, and compliance-related information.
  • Travel between assigned properties based on operational needs.
  • Provide additional administrative and property management support as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Previous HUD/affordable housing experience – Required
  • Previous experience within multifamily property management – Required
  • Experience assisting with or conducting unit/property inspections
  • Working knowledge of HUD compliance requirements and affordable housing operations.
  • Strong administrative, documentation, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing property management and inspection software.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate communication between property management and maintenance teams.
