About the role
We are seeking a Bilingual Administrative Coordinator to support our Pediatric Home Health Therapy department. In this role, you will coordinate patient admissions, manage documentation, communicate with families and therapists, and provide essential administrative support to ensure a seamless patient care experience.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, admissions, and therapy waitlist management
- Communicate with caregivers, therapists, physicians, and internal departments regarding scheduling, service updates, and patient care
- Prepare and process physician orders, authorizations, plans of care, DME requests, and other therapy documentation
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate information to appropriate departments
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and document case communications
- Compile monthly reports, assist with chart audits, and support compliance and documentation requirements
- Manage front office duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, processing mail, and opening/closing the office
- Serve as backup for the Client Services Coordinator, including processing physician orders, authorizations, and plans of care
- Assist leadership with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- At least one year of office or administrative experience (required)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills (required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications (required)
- Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service (required)
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (required)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (preferred)
- Experience in pediatric healthcare, home health, therapy services, medical office administration, or insurance verification (preferred)
