Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly production schedules to support operational requirements and customer demand.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring employees receive necessary training and onboarding information.
- Assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and projects to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure required training is completed on time for employees who are progressing into new roles or responsibilities within the production department.
- Coordinate and track employee training records to ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Assist with training activities within the Production Department, providing support to supervisors and employees as needed.
- Support production leadership with data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Maintain accurate production records, schedules, training documentation, and employee records.
- Communicate effectively with production employees and supervisors in both English and Spanish.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and operational communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support production goals and business objectives.
- Monitor and update production-related information within company software systems.
- Help coordinate employee development initiatives and skills progression programs.
- Support compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Production Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using business and production software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to support operational needs as required.
