Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi‑weekly payroll for staff and weekly payroll for field and federal contract employees
  • Administer payroll using Sage 100 Contractor (formerly Master Builder) and reconcile time punches through Collection Cloud and mobile field apps
  • Manage new‑hire onboarding, including applications, E‑Verify, background checks, and employee setup
  • Handle payroll taxes, unemployment claims, employee verifications, and benefit deductions (401(k) and HSA)
  • Support certified payroll reporting (training provided) and serve as a daily point of contact for employee payroll and HR questions

Qualifications

  • 0-1+ years of hands‑on payroll experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a comfort level being on the phone and interacting with employees daily
