Bilingual Part Time Program Manager (Pleasanton District)

Purpose

Right At School provides safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for students in 17 states across the country. Our goal is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give parents peace of mind.

Pay and Hours

Pay range: $25-$29/hr. (Dependent on education & experience)
Program hours: M-F 12:00pm-6pm and/or 2pm-6pm (Might vary depending on need)
Start date: 1st day of school is August 13th- trainings will be the week before.
Must be cleared to start by August 3rd.

Location

Candidates should be open to being placed at any of the schools we partner with in the Pleasanton Unified School District. We cannot guarantee preferred school locations as our openings are based on the needs of our programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coach a team who are passionate about providing a safe, fun, engaging environment
  • Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience
  • Instill the Right At School footprint by participating in local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back, Field Day, and more)
  • Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, EMSA, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician)
