Bilingual Part Time Program Manager (Pleasanton District)

Pay and Schedule

Pay range: $25-$29/hr. (Dependent on education & experience)
Program hours: M-F 12:00pm-6pm and/or 2pm-6pm (Might vary depending on need)
Start date: 1st day of school is August 13th- trainings will be the week before.
Must be cleared to start by August 3rd.

Qualifications

  • Must be mission-driven and passionate about fostering a love of learning while providing a safe environment for children to explore and grow.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, EMSA, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician).

Skills

  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to develop and coach a team who are passionate about providing a safe, fun, engaging environment.
  • Experience working closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience.
  • Ability to manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork.
  • Knowledge of Right At School's Disguised Learning curriculum.
  • Experience managing and maintaining safety standards including supervision and program paperwork.
  • Experience with local community events.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days.
Candidates should be open to being placed at any of the schools we partner with in the Pleasanton Unified School District.
We cannot guarantee preferred school locations as our openings are based on the needs of our programs.
