Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and/or family outpatient therapy sessions to clients with a variety of mental health needsConduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plansDeliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewingMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standardsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic, client-centered careProvide bilingual counseling services to non-English-speaking clients, reducing language barriers to mental health accessParticipate in case consultations, supervision, and ongoing professional development Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health fieldActive NC licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or associate-level equivalent)Clinical speciality preferred (EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT, etc) Bilingual proficiency required (Spanish or other language — must be able to conduct therapy sessions in both languages)Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy in a clinical settingProficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed practicesStrong cultural competency and experience working with diverse, underserved populationsExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills About Us: Avighna Holistic Care is a mental health and wellness practice based in Durham, NC, dedicated to providing integrative, whole-person care that honors the mind, body, and spirit.
