Responsibilities
- Work with doctors to room patients
- Assist with procedure setup
- Perform point-of-care testing, take vitals, and provide phlebotomy services
- Manage patient flow and support everything from check-in to discharge
- Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to guide patient care
- Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent
- Provide referral orders
- Facilitate transition of care to urgent care or hospital
- Perform other duties as needed

Schedule
Work settings vary by specialty and location, with options including:
- Outpatient (Doctor’s Office): Typically weekday hours (around 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday), with some offices offering evening or weekend shifts. Ideal for those who prefer a consistent routine.
- Emergency Department: Open 24/7, offering flexibility for those balancing school or other commitments.
Pay
Compensation for this position is $23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proof of vaccinations (may be required)
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Flexible schedule availability
- Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
- Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training)
