About the Role
The Lawndale Elementary School District has an opening for a Bilingual Instructional Assistant. Eligibility for this position requires the ability to communicate in Spanish (written and oral). Experience working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction in both English and Spanish.
- Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- 48 units or an Associate’s (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university (preferred).
- Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish (written and oral).
- Experience working with school-age children in an organized setting (desirable).
Schedule
- 15 hours per week.
- 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Schedule and site are subject to change.
Pay
$21.50 – $27.42 per hour.
