About the role
The Bilingual Human Resources Assistant performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relating to standard policies, benefits, payroll processes, etc.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs benefit meetings and enrollment for all new hires or qualified employees.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Sources and recruits candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other channels.
- Reviews resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conducts phone screens and coordinates interviews with hiring managers.
- Manages the full recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.
- Develops and posts job descriptions on various recruitment platforms.

Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior related office experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
