Bilingual HR Recruiter (Part time)-Iowa Falls or Des Moines , IA

About the role

This position will join Iowa Select Farms’ recruiting team in their efforts to fill the staffing needs of the company through effective and efficient strategies. This includes making calls to reach candidates, screening potential candidates, collaborating with the recruitment team, and assisting with job postings.

Responsibilities

• Making calls throughout the day to reach candidates that have expressed interest in our available positions.
• Screens of potential candidates and identifies talent and potential, any red-flags, and other necessary items included in an application.
• Stays current on openings, prioritizing calls and emails to potential applicants.
• Collaborates with the recruitment team to identify and update processes and strategies as needed to remain competitive in recruitment efforts.
• Understands all positions within Iowa Select Farms to communicate key responsibilities of each role to potential employees.
• Partners with recruitment platform representatives through routine calls to discuss updates on strategies, priorities, and budgeting.
• Identifies and attends career days, job fairs, and other potential events in locations where we have farms, sites, and openings.
• Identify and implement ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies, analyze ad performance data, research new platforms, create new content, identify new audiences, and bring those ideas forward to supervisor.
• Corresponds with applicants regarding the status of their application while answering any additional questions.
• Collaborates with hiring managers and Human Resources by providing updates on leads and prospects until position is successfully filled.
• Assists with job postings and advertisement processes which requires the ability to navigate to different recruiting platforms.
• Promptly communicates messages, updates, and other necessary information with supervisor and team.
• Helps with preparation, education, and execution of summer internship program.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources/Recruiting or related field preferred.
• An agricultural background and/or knowledge of the industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Customer service and/or outgoing call experience preferred.
• Available to consistently work 25-30 hours a week.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with an average of 30 hours per week over the course of a year. Additional availability may be required during staffing challenges.
