About the role
This position is available due to an upcoming retirement, and we're offering a unique opportunity for the right candidate to be mentored directly by the outgoing HR leader, ensuring a smooth transition and a deep understanding of our culture, processes, and people.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with owners and leadership on organizational planning and development
- Help cultivate a positive, accountable, and high-energy workplace culture
- Support a team environment where urgency and teamwork go hand-in-hand
- Recruit and hire dependable, high-quality employees
- Lead onboarding, orientations, and assist with performance management
- Maintain training and work instruction records
- Lead all OSHA and safety initiatives, including training, safety committees, and workers’ compensation
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Update and maintain policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate records
- Administer company 401(k) plan
- Manage employee benefits, vendor relationships, and open enrollment
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Plan and execute employee events, including leadership meetings, appreciation days, and company gatherings
- Build strong, trusted relationships internally and externally
Requirements

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment (PHR/SPHR a plus)
- Strong experience with OSHA, safety programs, and compliance is required
- In-depth knowledge of benefit and retirement plans, including state and federal regulatory compliance
- Operational knowledge of payroll policies, regulations, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint a plus)
- Bilingual full professional working proficiency in Spanish and English is required
