About the role
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual HR Manager to lead human resources operations for a high-volume distribution center. This hands-on role will support a large employee population in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily HR operations and serve as a trusted resource for employees, supervisors, and leadership.
- Partner with operational leaders on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, and workplace policies.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee documentation, and offboarding for high-volume staffing needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support benefits administration, leave management, and employee inquiries.
- Support workforce planning, staffing initiatives, employee engagement, training, and development programs.
- Coach managers on effective communication, performance expectations, and consistent policy application.
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, safe, and professional workplace culture.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee information clearly in both English and Spanish.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee retention, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a high-volume distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, retail, apparel, or consumer products environment.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, and California labor laws.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Experience supporting a large, diverse hourly workforce in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Strong communication, organization, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Approachable, accountable, and comfortable balancing strategic HR priorities with hands-on daily support.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
Pay
$115,000 per year
Schedule
Full-time, onsite, Monday–Friday
