About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing international food distribution company that is expanding across multiple U.S. locations. They’re looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist to support daily HR operations across areas like recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, payroll prep, benefits, employee records, compliance, safety training, and reporting. This is a strong fit for someone with 3-5 years of HR generalist or HR coordinator experience who is hands-on, organized, comfortable supporting employees, and able to keep HR processes accurate in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee information in Paycom HRIS, including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and compensation updates.
- Support recruiting by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and coordinating onboarding.
- Complete new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, system setup, and orientation support.
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR documentation.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and COBRA notices.
- Audit timecards, monitor attendance issues, and prepare payroll information for review.
- Help maintain compliance documentation, including OSHA logs, policy acknowledgments, HR audits, and training records.
- Coordinate safety and compliance training, including tracking employee completion.
- Assist with workplace incident reports, accident documentation, and internal follow-up.
- Work with HR Managers across multiple states to keep processes consistent and organized.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR generalist or HR coordinator experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, food, or multi-location environments preferred.
- Experience with Paycom strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ACA, I-9, wage and hour rules, OSHA, and HR compliance.
- Strong Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable handling confidential information and supporting employees professionally.

Pay
$65,000-$75,000 annual salary
