Job Summary
The Restaurant Store, operated by Clark Associates, is a leading provider of restaurant supplies and equipment across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. Known for its extensive inventory and exceptional service, The Restaurant Store offers a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of busy restaurateurs.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Spanish and English-speaking customers via phone, email, and in-person regarding order status and available products
- Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate solutions to customer inquiries with the goal of fostering customer loyalty and increasing sales
- Listen to and analyze customer issues, investigate problems, and develop strategic solutions in both English and Spanish
- Ensure customers receive the most up-to-date information about their orders
- Communicate product or service issues to the Customer Solutions department and other relevant departments as needed
- Foster a positive, professional team environment by maintaining a positive attitude
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes as the company grows
- Take initiative to improve processes and contribute to the company's success
- Guide customers through the online shopping process and provide product assistance
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking up to 9 hours per day
- Regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Experience
Work experience in a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant skills and experience are valued alongside alignment with our core values.
Education
This role does not require a degree. However, we consider relevant skills and experience above all else.
