About the role

We are seeking a Healthcare Representative to assist patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in applying for benefits coverage and completing applications for state and federal programs, including Health Exchange/Marketplace.
• Review medical records and expedite benefit approvals.
• Communicate with government agencies regarding claims.
• Interview patients and collaborate with hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
• Adhere to privacy standards for PHI, PII, and PTI.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish or Creole
• Experience in human services or patient communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work onsite at a hospital

Qualifications

• Flexibility for various shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Full vaccination against Flu & COVID is required

• Face-to-face patient interaction

Benefits

• Compensation ranges from $16 to $29 per hour
