About the Role
A friendly, organized, and dependable bilingual professional to provide customer service and office support for applicants, new hires, and employees in the construction trades.
Responsibilities
- Assist English- and Spanish-speaking applicants and employees in person, by phone, text, and email
- Help new employees complete hiring and onboarding paperwork
- Conduct new-hire orientations in English and Spanish
- Explain company procedures, forms, and workplace expectations clearly
- Translate routine conversations, instructions, and documents
- Answer employee questions and connect them with the appropriate team member
- Enter and update information in company systems
- Review documents for accuracy and follow up on missing information
- Help employees access company applications, electronic forms, and mobile tools
- Coordinate onboarding appointments and schedules
- Scan, file, copy, email, and maintain organized records
- Provide general customer service and administrative support
- Perform other office duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write professionally in both languages)
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Comfortable communicating with construction and skilled-trades employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong computer, data-entry, and general office skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to explain information clearly and patiently
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred Experience
- Customer service, receptionist, administrative assistant, office coordinator, staffing, payroll, or similar experience
- Experience working with field employees or in the construction industry
- Experience helping customers or employees use mobile applications and electronic forms
A college degree and previous HR experience are not required.
