Bilingual Eligibility & Intake Coordinator

Location: Miami, FL 33155 | Pay Rate: $18.00/hr | Long-term contract-to-hire assignment via MOHR Enterprises, LLC.

About the role

We're hiring a Bilingual Eligibility & Intake Coordinator to help older adults and their families access Medicaid and long-term care benefits. You'll screen callers, help them through the application process, and track their case until it's resolved.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals apply for Medicaid and connect them with the right benefits staff
• Collect required documents and forms needed for the application
• Track applications and keep case records updated and accurate
• Follow up with applicants to check on missing information or next steps
• Attend team meetings to help move cases along
• Answer questions and advocate for applicants when issues come up
• Share information about available programs with the community
• Build relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and other referral partners
• Help train partner organizations on how to refer people to these benefits
• Support emergency response efforts when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, or an Associate's degree + 2 years of related experience (case management, intake, or working with older adults)
• Bilingual English/Spanish OR English/Creole required
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Comfortable talking with people on the phone and in person
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Team player who can also work independently

Pay

$18.00/hr
