Bilingual Customer Service Representative

About the role

We're seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative who can provide exceptional customer service, solve problems, and support members with billing inquiries. This role involves handling premium billing, answering questions, processing payments, and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service on inbound and outbound calls
• Research, analyze, and resolve premium billing inquiries independently
• Answer questions regarding billing, payments, account status, and member eligibility
• Process payments and educate members on billing and payment options
• Absorb and educate members on online billing and payment systems
• Make daily outbound calls, including outreach regarding delinquent accounts
• Resolve customer concerns during the initial interaction whenever possible
• Conduct follow-up research and communication when additional investigation is required
• Verify qualifications for reinstatement reviews and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of member information and comply with company policies
• Stay current on billing procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Meet established quality metrics, response times, call handling expectations, and audit standards

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong communication and telephone skills
• Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Requirements Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
