Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing community outreach and engagement efforts. This position involves collaborating with various community groups to promote understanding and support for local initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies that foster dialogue and collaboration between the organization and diverse communities.
• Conduct outreach activities including but not limited to workshops, seminars, and town hall meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all community engagement efforts.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives.
• Represent the organization at community events and forums.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in community organizing and outreach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public administration, social work, or community development.
• At least 2 years of experience in community engagement or related field.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Pay
