About the role
The Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing community outreach and engagement efforts. This position involves collaborating with various community groups to promote understanding and support for local initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that foster dialogue and collaboration between the organization and diverse communities.
- Conduct outreach activities including but not limited to workshops, seminars, and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all community engagement efforts.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives.
- Represent the organization at community events and forums.
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in community organizing and outreach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public administration, social work, or community development.
- At least 2 years of experience in community engagement or related field.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Pay
