Bilingual Clinical Educator

About the role

Provide in-person and virtual supplemental disease state education, device education, and engagement calls to patients enrolled in the program. Represent a leading biotechnology company within primary care and specialty practices to improve healthcare provider knowledge and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Present educational “Train The Trainer” programs, both live and virtual, to healthcare professionals in accordance with client guidelines.
  • Travel to assist in areas of highest demand for educating patients, including Spanish-speaking patients.
  • Attend and complete all required training courses and competency assessments within specified timeframes.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities, such as daily computer updates, weekly activity reports, emails, and monthly expense reports.
  • Attend local and national meetings/conferences to stay updated on plans, activities, and developments.
  • Effectively manage assigned territory(s) and travel outside of territory as needed.
  • Uncover referral pathways across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document all activity related to patients and offices accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to internal and external compliance and codes of conduct.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist License required.
  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's, BSN, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Preferred minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in a respiratory disease state or related field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English required.
  • Previous experience in pharma/biotech as a clinical educator or in sales preferred.
  • Ability to present to various groups, including physicians and office staff.
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% via car/airplane with overnight stays.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $85,000 – $159,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
