Bilingual Bankruptcy Paralegal

About the role

Montero Law Group is seeking a full-time Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our Silver Spring office. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, self-driven, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research on bankruptcy laws and regulations
• Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
• Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions as required
• Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish)
• Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency with Bestcase bankruptcy software
• Legal research and writing skills preferred
• Must be punctual and dedicated
• Strong organizational and research skills

Pay

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
