Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of complex litigation cases under the direction of an attorney.
  • Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and organize evidence to support the litigation process.
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Aid in trial preparation including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.
  • Coordinate and manage e-discovery process including document review, production, and data management.
  • Provide litigation support during trials
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys.
  • Maintain case management system to ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court dates.
  • Ensure all legal documents and correspondence are filed correctly and within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal handling personal injury matters.
  • Proficient in case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminologies, principles, and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and court rules.
