Job Details
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of complex litigation cases under the direction of an attorney.
- Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and organize evidence to support the litigation process.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Aid in trial preparation including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.
- Coordinate and manage e-discovery process including document review, production, and data management.
- Provide litigation support during trials
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys.
- Maintain case management system to ensure accurate and timely updates.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court dates.
- Ensure all legal documents and correspondence are filed correctly and within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal handling personal injury matters.
- Proficient in case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of legal terminologies, principles, and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and court rules.
