Bilingual 2nd Shift HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for supervisors and managers on a wide variety of topics to help increase their leadership effectiveness
• Manage the recruitment of hourly candidates for a variety of positions in multiple functions, participate in the interview and selection process of salaried candidates and manage the onboarding process
• Provide support to the location’s Safety program, including managing Workers' Compensation
• Investigate employee complaints and assist and support supervisors and managers with addressing performance and misconduct issues
• Contribute to efficient staffing and onboarding of the location to reduce overtime and achieve high operational efficiency and employee retention

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• A four-year degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
• SPHR, PHR, SHRM CP and/or SHRM SCP certification is preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist or relevant experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing operation
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated past success in recruiting, talent assessment, and development is required
