Bike Park Mechanic - Summer

About the role

Mammoth Bike Repair Shops are dedicated to providing personalized service and technical expertise. Our position involves diagnosing, maintaining, building, and repairing various types of mountain, electric, kids, and town bikes for guests and our extensive rental operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, build, and repair all current models of mountain, ebikes, kid's and town bikes
• Manage and maintain the rental fleet to ensure an amazing and safe rental experience
• Charge for services provided using a POS system
• Assist with fitting and sizing guests' bikes
• Support the team by managing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines
• Work in a high-energy environment and lift up to 40 pounds
• Provide excellent service and assistance with bike maintenance needs
• Operate in a team-oriented environment with an upbeat and enthusiastic personality
• Work holidays and weekends as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in bike repair shops
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience
• Able to assist managers/supervisors with daily duties and fitting bikes
• Able to manage tasks and meet deadlines
• Able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Extensive knowledge of bike maintenance and problem-solving
• Great attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
• Strong customer service skills

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $21.47 to $25.00
