About the Role

MTU Maintenance Fort Worth is seeking a Bid Management Specialist to join our highly motivated and international team. This role is pivotal in orchestrating and managing all Hannover campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximizing competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive engine MRO service offers that meet complex customer requirements, including detailed cost analysis
  • Develop effective sales strategies in close cooperation with Sales and Customer Account Management
  • Manage strategic sales campaigns across all market areas, coordinating the bidding team, monitoring company processes, gathering necessary information from specialist departments, and representing customer interests
  • Conduct risk and potential analyses in coordination with relevant cross-functional departments
  • Support sales teams in the negotiation of offers and contracts, which may involve customer visits
  • Drive cross-departmental collaboration to enhance sales expertise and manage strategic initiatives within the sales environment
  • Continuously improve and optimize IT tools, processes, and methodologies within the bidding process

Requirements

  • A completed university degree in economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the aviation industry or a similar environment, with a focus on sales-related areas being an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, understandable concepts
  • Willingness to travel and a keen interest in intercultural projects
  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus
  • Strong IT skills (especially MS Office, databases, and digitization)

Qualifications

  • Experience in bid management and sales strategy development
  • Knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
