Bi-Vocational Worship Minister

About the role

Mt. Carmel #1 Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Bi-Vocational Worship Minister who has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for leading God’s people in authentic, Christ-centered worship.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship during our Sunday Morning Worship Service.
• Plan worship services in cooperation with the Pastor.
• Utilize Worship Planning Software to coordinate all aspects of the Service.
• Recruit and lead volunteer singers and musicians.
• Aid in our Children’s Music Ministry.
• Participate in special services and church events throughout the year.
• Support the overall ministry and mission of Mt. Carmel #1 Baptist Church.

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• A servant's heart and commitment to biblical worship.
• Musical ability to lead congregational singing.
• Ability to work well with volunteers and church leadership.

Time Commitment

This is a bi-vocational position requiring approximately 8–12 hours per week, including Sunday morning worship, planning, rehearsals, children’s music, and special services as needed.
