About the role
This is a bi-vocational position at Calvary Bible Baptist Church of Rock Hall, Maryland. The church is Independent Fundamental Baptist, uses the KJV, is traditional in music, missions minded, and averages 25-35 in attendance (including every age group with a healthy group of young people).
Responsibilities
- Lead worship services and other church activities
- Teach Sunday school classes
- Oversee youth ministry
- Support the church’s mission work
- Engage the community through outreach programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Religion or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of pastoral experience
- Strong commitment to the teachings of the Bible
- Ability to lead and inspire a congregation
- Experience with technology and social media
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Passion for youth and family ministry
- Experience with church administration and operations
Skills
- Effective teaching and preaching skills
