Bi-vocational Pastor

About the Role

Broadway Baptist Church, a small congregation of less than 30 members affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Little River Baptist Association, is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational Pastor. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pastoral care, biblical preaching, discipleship, community outreach, and have a vision for church growth.

Qualifications

• Must be an ordained minister of the Gospel.
• Must uphold the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• Demonstrate a clear calling to pastoral ministry.
• Possess strong pastoral care and leadership skills.
• Minimum 3 years of pastoral experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry or attending an accredited seminary/Bible college.
• Able to effectively serve in a bi-vocational ministry setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care and shepherding to the congregation.
• Faithfully preach and teach God’s Word.
• Lead the church in spiritual growth, evangelism, and discipleship.
• Work alongside church leaders to fulfill the mission and vision of the church.
• Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral duties as needed.

Pay

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
