Bi-Lingual Shipping Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures sales orders and picking tickets are printed and distributed to shipping department.
• Maintains shipping schedule to ensure on time and in full shipments for all sales orders.
• Supervises the Shipping production teammates in a union facility, including interviewing, onboarding, and disciplining as necessary.
• Trains shipping teammates in their assigned tasks and ensures adherence to company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitors scanning equipment and ERP systems for accuracy and ensures shipping/receiving paperwork is completed correctly.
• Affirms payroll records and updates timecards according to company policy.
• Improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the Shipping department.
• Maintains 5S standards in the shipping area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2 years of experience in a shipping or receiving leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage a fast-paced, union environment.
• Knowledge of computerized ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
