Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using Power Query and DAX.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting data.
- Provide support in monitoring data refresh schedules and troubleshooting data issues.
- Document report specifications, processes, and data sources for future reference.
- Stay up to date with Power BI best practices and basic data visualization techniques.
- Data analysis for support in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0–2 years of experience working with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with Power Query (M language) and introductory-level DAX expressions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Abilities
- Exposure to Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with version control process and tools (e.g., Git).
