About the role

Our Level 1, acute care psychiatric facility located in Tempe is licensed to treat adults and adolescents for a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency. Our team is dedicated to the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in inpatient care
• Help patients with their activities of daily living
• Participate in daily shift rounds and the treatment plan process
• Create and maintain a therapeutic environment
• Conduct activities/groups as assigned by the Charge Nurse/Therapist
• Support the RN in implementing the patient's treatment and care plan
• Ensure a safe environment

Requirements

• Currently hiring for BOTH Day 0700-1900 and night shift 1900-0700
• Willing and able to work a full 12-hour shift Nighttime (NOC) 1900-0700 or Willing and able to work a full 12-hour DAY shift 0700-1900
• Certified in TO, CPR, and First Aid Training or completed within the first 30 days of hire
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or verifiable equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must currently possess or be eligible for a Level 1 DPS Fingerprint Clearence Card #INDHIGH
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical
• Must be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card
