About the Role
As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Collect accurate session data and document client progress
- Collaborate with the clinical team to provide consistent, high-quality care
- Participate in ongoing supervision and training
Amaze ABA Therapy provides access to the required 40-hour RBT training course, along with supervision and support throughout the certification process. All Behavior Technicians must obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 120 days of hire.
Requirements
- Must complete the required RBT training and obtain RBT certification within 120 days of hire
- Experience working with children is preferred; autism experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent and professional availability
- Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
- Passion for helping children learn and develop meaningful skills
Employees are responsible for the initial BACB application and RBT exam fees. These fees are reimbursed after the employee becomes RBT certified and completes 90 days of client services.
