Responsibilities

• Provide direct care services including individual and group counseling, support, and other therapeutic activities.
• Participate in comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Facilitate and participate in family and collateral meetings, team meetings, and case conferences to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social work (LCADC candidates without a Master’s degree considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Two years of mental health experience; for Adolescent Services, at least one year of experience working with youth in a mental health setting.
• Valid licensure as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
• Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) within two years of terminal license and with authorized supervisors considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle License.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $29.11 to $36.39 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
