About the Role

We are recruiting for two Optometrist opportunities in the Los Angeles area. Both positions offer manageable patient schedules, competitive daily compensation, and the potential for additional days as the practices grow. Each opportunity offers a different practice environment and schedule, allowing you to find the setting that best fits what you're looking for.

Opportunity 1: Beverly Hills Private Practice

Join an established private practice in Beverly Hills (Rodeo Drive area) known for personalized, concierge-style primary care optometry and an upscale, established patient base.

Schedule

• Part-time or full-time, approximately 3–5 days per week
• Saturdays are required
• Strong preference for availability 3–4 Saturdays per month
• Potential availability on additional weekdays based on scheduling needs
• Approximately 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch)
• Occasional days at the practice's Brentwood office may also be available

Patient Care

The practice emphasizes a high-touch, relationship-driven approach, giving the Optometrist time to build rapport with patients and coordinate care closely.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

• Comprehensive eye examinations
• Refractions
• Contact lens examinations and fittings (including multifocal and daily, bi-weekly, and monthly options)
• Primary care optometry
• Coordinating referrals and follow-up, with an emphasis on attentive, concierge-style patient communication

Patient volume is approximately 8–12 patients per day, with visit times allowing for thorough exams and personal interaction.

Technology & Practice Environment

• Optos widefield imaging
• Auto-refractor; lensometry and pre-testing supported by staff
• Boutique private practice environment
• Established Beverly Hills patient base

Compensation

$550–$625 per day, depending on experience

Opportunity 2: Multi-Location Los Angeles Practice

Join a well-established practice group with three locations throughout the Los Angeles area. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to potentially grow into full-time over the next 6–12 months.

Schedule

• Minimum commitment of 2 days per week
• Current Clinic Schedule:
  • Monday: Los Angeles – near Echo Park
  • Tuesday: Huntington Park
  • Thursday: Los Angeles – near City Terrace
• The schedule rotates between the practice locations based on the days worked

Patient Care

• Approximately 10–15 patients per day
• Comprehensive eye examinations
• Lighter patient schedule with time to provide quality patient care
• Opportunity to work independently across different practice environments

Equipment

• Echo Park: Portable examination equipment
• Huntington Park: Fully equipped exam lanes
• City Terrace: Fully equipped exam lanes
• No imaging is currently available at the three locations

Compensation

$550–$600 per day, depending on experience

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active California Optometry License
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• For the multi-location opportunity, candidates should be comfortable working between clinic locations
• Spanish-speaking ability is preferred
