Beverage Supervisor - Casino

About the Role

The Beverage Supervisor oversees the successful operation of the bars, directing cocktail, bartending, and bar back staff to ensure guests have a favorable gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development and management of the beverage department budget.
• Ensures the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Supervises programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels.
• Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities.
• Develops staff through interviewing, hiring, and evaluating performance.
• Manages department financial data.
• Reviews beverage activities and promotions with the Beverage Manager.
• Monitors and adjusts performance to local competition.
• Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two to five years’ experience in bar operations and managing personnel.
• 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to delivering a service level that creates a positive, memorable guest experience.
• Must routinely go above and beyond in accomplishing position responsibilities to support organizational goals.
• Ability to project a professional appearance and demeanor while presenting an image of excitement and enthusiasm.
