About the role
The Beverage Shift Manager oversees all Beverage operations for their shift, ensuring quality and efficiency across the department and property. Essential functions include scheduling, inventory management, payroll, attendance, employee relations, communication, and organization.
Responsibilities
- Schedule shifts and manage staff, including handling RTOs, vacations, and personal days.
- Inventory checks for liquor, wine, beer, dry goods, and glassware, reporting shortages and discrepancies.
- Ensure consistent and quality product serving and glassware usage, conducting monthly inventory.
- Extend payroll, adjust attendance charts, and document any payroll discrepancies.
- Treat employees fairly, issue discipline professionally, and handle employee grievances.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, maintaining a professional work environment.
- Perform bar duties, conduct inspections, and assist in other projects as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and beverage area, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Complete required training and adhere to information security policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- Three to five years of customer service experience.
- Three to five years of food and beverage experience.
- Previous supervisory or management experience required.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.

Starting rate: $43,344.65. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
Schedule
