Beverage Manufacturing - Team Lead, 2nd shift

Sunny Sky's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and corporate office is located in Houston, TX, where we produce a variety of thirst appealing beverages. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Lead to join our team in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing facility. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Production Lead will collaborate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations while maintaining high-quality standards. This position involves significant leadership responsibilities, including blending, batching, machine operation, and training/coaching operators and laborers. Responsibilities Lead the production staff in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targetsFulfill the role of department supervisors in their absenceAssist with reducing manufacturing costs through use of process, equipment, and staff improvementsMaintain a clean and safe work environment in the production areas of the plant.Coach and train associates for team development.Assist and promote positive development of production employees and ensuring that all new hires are properly and adequately trained to perform their job responsibilities at the highest levelHelp to control inventory losses and other duties assigned. Required Skills/Abilities/Education Excellent communication and coaching skillsStrong commitment to food safetySteady level of attention to detail and commitment to follow through assignmentsMust be a dedicated, hands-on Team-LeaderExperience with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointBilingual a plus but not required Hours Our production team runs on 8-hour shifts plus occasional overtime Full time jobMonday - Friday & Most Saturdays from 2PM - 10:30PM.
