Beverage Manager - Durango

About the Role

This position is critical to the success of Durango as an approachable, luxury destination offering best‑in‑class hospitality and exciting amenities. As a Beverage Manager you will support, develop, and inspire your team while delivering exceptional guest experiences for local corporate groups and social events.

Responsibilities

• Develop a client base for local corporate groups and social events.
• Respond promptly to daily inquiry calls from social and corporate guests.
• Maintain overall knowledge of room capabilities and conference facility capacities.
• Create detailed, themed event menus.
• Prepare and produce banquet event orders, contracts, and coordinate any additional outside vendors.
• Support, develop, and inspire team members; enable and empower them to perform.
• Own the operation or shift, building caring and trusting relationships with staff.
• Engage and communicate with the team, elevate performance through coaching, develop talent, and champion collaboration across the business.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form.
• Food and wine preparation experience – 2 years preferred.
• Well‑organized and detail‑oriented.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain all necessary work cards.
