Beverage Asst Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Responsible for all aspects of the effective beverage management within a casino environment.
• Affirmative action statement: Ensure total compliance with all responsible alcohol service policies.
• Assists with supervising team members on the proper instructions of alcohol handling, cash handling and workplace safety rules.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches multiple employees.
• Counsels and trains team members to meet and exceed quality standards.

Skills/ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in food and beverage management required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume bar, restaurant or nightclub is preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain a valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Blood-Borne Pathogens (BBP) and other required compliance trainings.
• Ability to perform the GILA WAY, including greeting, interacting positively, listening actively, and appreciating guests.
• Excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
