Beverage Application Intern (6 months)
About the role
During your internship you will:
- Assist Product Application Developers with flavor evaluations, making beverage bases and finished beverage samples, and specification testing.
- Learn and utilize sensory evaluation to assist with beverage development.
- Support portfolio management by setting up tastings of flavors and finished beverages.
- Afford general lab housekeeping, including calibrating lab equipment, restocking glassware, and replenishing raw materials and solutions.
- Afford assistance with raw material inventory and documentation.

Requirements
Pursuing BS/MS degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
Commutable distance to Laguna Beach, CA.
Ability to use basic lab equipment, including balances, pH meters, and micropipettes.
Awareness of hazardous material handling.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Pursuing BS/MS degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.

Pay
The expected gross hourly rate for this position is USD 16.90 - USD 16.90.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
