About the role
BestDrive, a subsidiary of Continental, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Finance Manager to lead finance, accounting, pricing, procurement, and investment controlling functions supporting our retail and plant operations across North America. This leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and Continental's Accounting and Controlling teams to drive financial performance, strengthen internal controls, improve operational efficiencies, and provide strategic business insights that support continued growth. Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Develop financial reporting, KPIs, and Power BI dashboards to support business decisions.
- Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations and drive continuous process improvements.
- Partner with leadership on capital investment planning, business cases, and financial analysis.
- Develop pricing strategies that support growth while maximizing profitability.
- Lead procurement activities, supplier strategies, and purchasing governance.
- Support internal and external audits while maintaining compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
- Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting, finance, or controlling experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience
- Experience with:
- Financial Accounting
- Month-End Close
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Intercompany Accounting
- Intermediate Power BI experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- SAP experience (P68 preferred)
Work Environment
This position is primarily based in a professional office environment at the company’s headquarters. Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting. The role involves regular use of a computer, including keyboarding, viewing screens, and utilizing standard office equipment. The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, with occasional standing or walking. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with PPE requirements.
