About the role
Manage high-stakes, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects with a focus on excellence. Lead multi-discipline engineering projects, ensuring timely, on-budget completion while upholding our Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) guidelines. Work with talented engineers, sub-contractors, and clients to drive project milestones.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full project life cycle, including safety, scope, schedule, budget, and risk for complex BESS projects
- Overseeing project designs, Bill of Materials (BOM), equipment specifications, and construction requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive project milestones
- Leading the development of project proposals, schedules, and material lists
- Providing project performance updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables by conducting engineering work reviews
- Traveling to client sites and vendor facilities to ensure alignment on project goals
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience and Skills: Experience managing BESS projects in the utility industry (or similar industry experience); Expertise in cost/schedule reporting; A strong leader with advanced organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects; A skilled communicator capable of leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders
Qualifications
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)
