Benefits
- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and ancillary plans.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and maintain accurate records in HRIS and benefits systems.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions, claims issues, leave requests, workers' compensation, and benefit-related communications.
- Cook up annual open enrollment activities, employee education, and enrollment follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA requirements.
- Reconcile benefit invoices, coordinate payments, and work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions.
- Cook up coordination with insurance carriers, brokers, retirement plan providers, and other benefits vendors.
- Aid in audits, reporting, and ongoing administration of employee benefit programs.
- Support onboarding activities, including serving as a backup for new employee orientation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Two years’ Human Resources experience
- Four year’s Human Resources experience (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay
The base rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Human Resources office at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT.
