Benefits Specialist

We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our team at Smile Doctors, the largest national network of orthodontic clinics with locations in more than 20 states. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing company and industry leader that excels at providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to team member inquiries related to their benefits enrollments and leaves of absence
• Maintain leaves of absence tracking file and escalate issues as needed
• Respond to 401(k) retirement plan inquiries related to enrollment and contribution changes
• Maintain HRIS benefits module and all benefit vendors data file feeds
• Assist with open enrollment planning and execution
• Assist with the administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other benefit programs
• Generate reports concerning benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, and leaves of absence activities
• Oversee HSA funding file and discrepancies during auditing process
• Participate in the preparation of the annual enrollment process
• Stay abreast of changes in existing laws, rules, regulations, and best practices applicable to benefits and HRIS

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of benefits experience including system administration required
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills and Outlook) required, including advanced skills with V-lookup and pivot tables
