About the role
A Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs. This includes coordinating enrollment processes, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer various employee benefit plans including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Coordinate enrollment processes for new hires and changes in coverage.
- Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to benefits administration.
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to benefits administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of ERISA and other relevant employment laws.
- Experience with benefits administration software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
