About the role
The Benefits Planner will provide benefits optimization reviews and comprehensive financial planning services to highly compensated participants. This role involves working closely with the Executive Planner to support conversations around optimization of workplace benefits, creating and presenting customized financial plans, and staying informed about market trends and regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with highly compensated participants
- Work with executives to optimize their benefits initially and annually
- Support the Executive Planner by developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of the executives
- Recommend, implement, and review investment strategies that align with risk tolerance and financial objectives
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies
- Support your team while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC©) required
- Registrations/Licenses: FINRA Series 7, NASAA Series 63 and 65, required; Life Insurance Licensing, preferred
- FINRA fingerprinting required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
- Proficiency in financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro, Naviplan, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience working with highly compensated Empower plan participants preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of financial planning principles and practices
- Understanding of tax laws and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
$87,400.00 - $123,400.00
Schedule
Remote and hybrid positions require reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption. You may be required to work in the office if you do not have an adequate home work environment and the required internet connection.
