About the role

Under the supervision of the Director of HR Operations, the incumbent handles all company leaves and benefits. Be a team leader in ensuring timely and courteous responses to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Keep team members and managers informed on leave requests
• Assist with organizing open enrollment
• Prepare and review L54 H&W statements and billing
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable human resources government guidelines and laws
• Perform required data entry on Company’s HRIS system
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; one (1) to three (3) years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior Infinium or related Human Resources system experience preferred
• Must have strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel software programs
• Casino and/or hotel experience is strongly preferred
• Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities
• Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality of information
• Ability to occasionally work nights, weekends, holidays, and outside of regular work schedule is required
