We are seeking a State Board Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team, supporting growth and expanding therapy needs. In this part-time role, the PTA assists licensed physical therapists in evaluating and treating patients, helping to relieve pain, restore function, and improve performance using various physical modalities such as heat, water, electrical stimulation, massage, and more. Key responsibilities include following therapist directionsadministering active and passive exercises, gait training, and functional activitiesapplying therapies like whirlpool, ultrasound, and tractioneducating patients on device usedocumenting patient progress and reactionscollaborating as part of the care team and maintaining supervision under a licensed therapist, refraining from evaluations or changing treatment plans. Qualifications include completion of an approved PTA programCalifornia state licensure and strong communication and patient care skills.
