About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse for a travel assignment specializing in critical care and cardiovascular recovery. This role involves providing pre-operative support and post-operative care for complex cardiac patients, including those with devices like Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices.

Nurses will float across units such as ICU, MICU, SICU, and CVICU, managing invasive lines, medications, hemodynamic needs, and dialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative support and post-operative care for complex cardiac patients
• Manage patients with devices such as Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices
• Float across ICU, MICU, SICU, and CVICU units
• Handle invasive lines, medications, hemodynamic needs, and dialysis
• Work night shifts and every other weekend
• Adhere to a schedule with a maximum of 14 days off

Requirements

• Diploma in nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ohio or compact nursing license
• At least 12 months of recent critical care experience, including 3 months in the last year
